Barbara Kelley Mariner

Barbara Kelley Mariner, 86, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Delmar Villas. Born July 5, 1939, in Swedesboro, NJ she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy Parker Kelley.

She was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School and worked as a telephone operator for 35 years at Verizon. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Gregory Allan Mariner, and his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Robin Mariner Steininger, and her husband, Keith; four grandchildren, Kelly Sterling and her husband, James, Stephen Mariner and his wife, Courtney, Kristin Goff and her husband, Corey, and Adam Mariner; six great-grandchildren, Kaylin Rae Sterling, Rylie Sterling, Beau Goff, Presley Goff, Lilly Mariner, and Camden Mariner; two brothers, Doug Kelley and Bobby Kelley; a nephew, William Cavey and his wife, Chrissy; and niece, Sheri Workman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald Denwood Mariner, and a brother, Benny Kelley.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Riverside Drive in Salisbury. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park. Friends may visit Bounds Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6pm- 8pm with prayers at 7:30.
