Brian Thomas “BT” Hastings, 48, of Laurel, DE passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Sumter, SC he was the son of Peggy Hastings and the late Gerald Hastings. BT attended Laurel High School and went to Vocational School at Sussex Tech. He went on to work as an upholsterer at DAG in the trim department. He enjoyed racing motorcycles and going to car shows. In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Richard Hastings; sister, Julie Thomas; two nieces, three nephews, a great-niece; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at Bounds Funeral Home, 705 E. Main Street, Salisbury, MD, where the family will receive friends from 1pm- 2pm. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations to help with expenses in BT’s memory.
