Candy was a devoted woman of faith who found great joy in attending church every Sunday. She especially loved directing the choir, where her passion for music and her natural leadership shined brightly. Her love for music uplifted hearts and brought people together in praise and worship.
She had a warm and giving spirit and was always willing to help others. Candy was known for her kindness, her gentle strength, and her ability to lead with compassion and grace.

She embraced time in the kitchen with joy, especially popping popcorn for evening snacks and sharing those simple, happy moments with others. She also loved baking cakes and cookies during the Christmas season and was known for her delicious macaroni and cheese.
Candy also enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, where her enthusiasm and determination inspired those around her. She had a joyful and playful spirit – she loved big trucks and would light up with excitement, always hoping to hear them blow their horn as they passed by. Candy also loved dancing, expressing her happiness freely and bringing smiles to those around her. Candy also loved to travel, exploring many states across the U.S. as well as Paris, France.
Candy was an individual with disabilities who lived at a Dove Pointe residential group home, where she shared her life with two other ladies and was supported by a caring and compassionate community. Though details of her extended family are limited, Candy was surrounded by love, friendship, and dedicated caregivers who cherished her deeply. Psalm 23
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
