Carroll Gorman Beauchamp, 74, of Salisbury passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Salisbury he was the son of the late Norris Lee Beauchamp, Sr. and Carole Hambury Ziegler.
He was an upholsterer at Salisbury Auto Trim for 37 years and later set up an upholstery shop for Delmarva Auto Glass known as Delmarva Auto Trim where he served as manager for 5 years until his retirement in 2015. Carroll began his 49-year volunteer career tenure at Station 2 Fire Department in 1975, where he held positions as a Firefighter/ EMT, Treasurer, Trustee, and long-term leader of the “Flower Committee”, which he took great pride in. Carroll would frequently visit the firehouse and rarely missed a meeting. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed listening to the oldies, and enjoyed working on old cars. His pride and joy was his 1957 Chevrolet pickup.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann Beauchamp; two sons, Kevin Beauchamp (Angie) and Matthew Beauchamp; two grandchildren, Maggie and Garrett Beauchamp; brother, Norris Lee Beauchamp, Jr.; half-brothers, Tommy Beauchamp and Gene Beauchamp (Sherry) ; half-sister, Terri Householder (Perry); sister-in-law, Janice Austin (John); and niece, Savannah Beauchamp; and nephews, Jason Austin (Kelly) and Jordan Austin (Lauren).
A Fireman’s Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main St in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Joel Beiler and Chaplain Cooper will officiate. Entombment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
