Charles “Charlie” R. Coffin, 70, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at his home. Born December 30, 1951 in Colwyn, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Charles and Marion Coffin. Charlie was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post 64 where he enjoyed volunteering as the Santa every year, VFW Post 194, and the Redman’s Club. He was an avid shooter and was a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his sons, Brian Coffin and Jason Coffin and their mother, Linda Coffin; three grandchildren, Victoria, Anthony, and Tyler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Coffin.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Charlie to the American Legion Wicomico Post 64, 1109 American Legion Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801.
