Dolly Marie Wesson, 96, of Delmar passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born “down in the holler” April 28, 1929, in Paintsville, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Mont and Anna Goble.
Dolly worked in sewing factories and later as a nursing aide. She was a member of Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Forse and her husband Greg; two sons, Randy Webb and David Gross and his wife Phyllis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olan Wesson; son, Danny Gross; brother, Wayne Goble and sister, Georgia.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11am at Line Community Church Cemetery, 18725 Line Church Rd, Delmar, DE 19940.
