She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Wharton. Their lives together made a portrait with Gods fingerprints all over it. She is also survived by two children, Jefferson “Jeff” Wharton and his wife, Joan and Kimberly Moyer and her husband, Tim; three grandchildren, Mason, Benjamin, and Sidney; sister, Brenda Blevins and her husband, Bob; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
