Dorothy worked alongside her husband, John on their farm in Pittsville. She was a good wife, a good mother, and a good friend. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Pleasant Church in Willards. She enjoyed growing flowers in her garden, painting, and ceramics.
She is survived by her son, John C. Dennis, Jr. and his wife, Carol; two granddaughters, Kris Kadlec and her husband, Jeremy and Meghan Washburn; three great-grandchildren, Jonah and Ethan Kadlec and Lukas John Washburn; previous daughter-in-law, Karon Dennis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Dennis, Sr., son, David Dennis, and brother, Lee Dennis.
A private graveside service will be held.
