Frank Anthony Ross

Frank and his wife, Susan, were together for 58 years, being married 55 of those years. They met in Ohio and married in Mississippi. Through those years they together survived a five-year term as he served as a ground radio operator in the US Air Force, continued on to become a software engineer for NASA, having four children, along with a one-year commitment requiring his presence on Ascension Island, parted from his family and moving the family to Guam for yet another year. Frank spent most of his years in Florida and Maryland raising and loving his family finally settling in the Bowie, Maryland area. Deciding a slower pace was needed Frank and the family decided to move to Willards, MD. They eventually decided to settle in Salisbury with family. Frank enjoyed working with and on computers. He enjoyed fishing and being on the water, but he most enjoyed spending time with family playing games like GOLF. He was involved with his church family and the Southern Maryland Walk to Emmaus.

Frank is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Joseph Ross and his brother, Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his mother, Arlenna Tucholski of Ohio; five sisters, Judy, Connie, Sharon, Vicki and Patricia; three brothers, Kenneth, Anthony and Joseph; his children, Betsy (Joseph “Mark”), Rebecca, Frank Jr. (Katie), and Andrea; grandchildren Leah (Corey), David, Cara, Cami, Cassi, Cathleen, Chrysteena, Brandy; great-grandchildren, Melody, Colton, Mikael, Maia, Murphy, Matthew, Liam and Revan, and also by his numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Eden United Methodist Church, 7460 Main Street Willards, Maryland 21874.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations could be made to the Eden United Methodist Building Fund, PO Box 102, Willards, MD 21874.
