Gary graduated from Seaford High School in 1963 and attended Virginia Tech College. He was a United States Navy Veteran where he was stationed in Panama. He was the Vice President of Harris Bank in Chicago, IL and worked for many years in food service beginning his career with Marriott. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Methodist Men and was a church usher.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice McCabe; daughter, Andrea C. Lange and her husband Keith of Las Vegas; two granddaughters, Lexi and Kate Lange; sister, Janie McTeer and her husband Mac of Seaford, DE; brother, Jan Walter McCabe and his wife Carol of Boulder, CO; niece, Tracy Aeschlimann of Felton, DE and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 2pm at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 406 N. Division St., Salisbury, MD 21801. Rev. Dr. W. Dan Rich will officiate.
