She is survived by a son, Ira D. Coover, Jr.; three daughters, Iris Coover, Tambra Evans, and Ellen Bossert and her husband Vinton; seven grandsons; six great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira D. Coover, Sr. and two brothers.
Following cremation Jean will be buried next to her husband in Glebe Cemetery in New Castle, DE with a private ceremony.
