Kara May Tribeck Long

Kara May Tribeck Long, 55, of Bremen, Alabama, passed away at Cullen Regional Medical Center on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Born on March 25, 1971, in Salisbury, MD. She was the daughter of Charles William Tribeck and the late Paulina Tribeck.

Kara was a 1989 Graduate of James M Bennett High School and right out of high school attended Wor-Wic Community College. She worked at Edgehill Pharmacy and Service Merchandise as a sales clerk. She also worked for Salisbury Brick and as a cashier at Food Lion. In 2011, Kara moved to Alabama where she married her husband Craig on November 13, 2015. Kara especially treasured spending time with her beloved dogs Tucker, Lexy and their newest rescue, Pretzel. She had a great passion for animals and never hesitated to help one in need. Kara also enjoyed reading a good book but mainly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and found happiness in the moments shared with others.

Kara is survived by her father, Charles William Tribeck of Salisbury; loving husband, Craig Alan Long; stepsons, Craig Alan Long Jr.; William Long; Dylan Long all of Alabama; sister, Tamara Tribeck Bergstrom (Steve) of New York, brothers, Randy W. Tribeck (Terri) of Laurel, DE and Michael Dean Tribeck of Salisbury; niece, Nicole Oertel (Spencer) of New York; great-niece, McKenzie Oertel of New York and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Kara was preceded in death by her mother, Paulina Tribeck; aunt, Geraldine H. Brimer and uncle, Harold Brimer.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 2PM at Union Church Cemetery behind Rock Christian Fellowship Church, 4218 Union Church Rd, Salisbury, MD. Pastor Shannon Harris will officiate. Fellowship will be held immediately afterwards at Union Community House.
