Mary Eloise Wilkins

Mary “Eloise” Wilkins, 89, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her home. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Edna J. Parker Coulter and Edwin J. Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Thomas Wilkins in 1994. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. Earl Ronald Wilkins and daughter-in-law Judy of Anderson, South Carolina; daughter Diane Lynn and son-in-law, Thomas Bauman of Apex, North Carolina; and daughter Barbara A. Wilkins of Salisbury. She also has four grandchildren, Kimberly Darnell (Jeff), Elizabeth English (Grant), David Wilkins (Becky), and Thomas Wilkins (Crystal); and thirteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call from 1:30-2. Her son Dr. Ron Wilkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Eloise to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216 Glen Allen, VA 23058.
