Mattie R. Bradford, 90, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 peacefully at her home. Born in Willards she was the daughter of the late Ford and Rosa Wilkins. She retired from Gant (formerly Watsons) Shirt Factory in Salisbury in 1990. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Allen Bradford and Lisa Bradford both of Seaford; two grandchildren, Katie Fedorka (Jacob) of Ogden, Utah and Anderson Bradford (Lydia) of Wilmington; three great-grandchildren, Henry and Elsie Bradford, and Audrey Fedorka; and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her cat, Jessie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Arthur C. Bradford in 2007; son, Wayne A. Bradford in 2012; and brother, Eschol Adkins. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Rev. Julie Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
