Mia Arielle Moreno-Rodriguez

Mia Arielle Moreno-Rodriguez, 7, of Parsonsburg entered Heavens gates on April 15, 2025, at Nationwide Children Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born, April 27, 2017, Mia was the daughter of Luis Moreno-Rodriguez (Casey) and Kristina Horst (Leavitt).

Mia had an amazing sense of humor and was full on one liners. She was always happy and brought joy and light to everyone around her. She attended Beaver Run Elementary School where she was in the 2nd grade. A girlie girl, she loved Stitch, skin care, making ASMR videos, music and a good jam session. A thrill seeker, she loved roller coaster rides. Mia was full of sass and sparkle.

In addition to her parents she is survived by siblings, Jordan, Samantha, and Liliana Moreno-Rodriguez, Mila Whaley-Rodriguez, and Gavin and Jase Wilson; grandparents, Ann Wester, Maria Padilla-Rodriguez, Carol and John Zoch; aunts and uncles, Elvia Moreno and Margarito, Maria Moreno, Francisco Moreno and Carmen, Lucas Wester and Tiffany, Kayla and Jeremy Kriner, Brianna and Michael Delgado, Destiny Zoch, Wanda Hensley, and Ariel Johnson; many cousins; and her fur siblings, Sandy, Roxie, and Midnight. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas Wester, and Francisco Moreno; great-grandparents, Beverly and Ray Hensley, Willa and Lanty Rutledge, and Charles and Angela Wester.

A Celebration of Mia’s Life will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
