Michael was a hairstylist and a yoga instructor. He loved all animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed gardening and antique collecting. He was very outgoing and made many special friends over the years. To know him was to love him.

He is survived by sisters – Melba and husband Tom Sneed of Atlas, MI; Barbara Adkins of Daniels, WV; Joan Pack of Cool Ridge, WV; Marie Thompson of Walkersville, MD. He was preceded in death by his partner of 33 years, Harvey Henderson.
A private Celebration of Life will be held followed by Inurnment in Old Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery in Rehobeth, MD
