

Michael Anton King, 59, of Selbyville, DE passed away on September 30, 2026, at Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center, Wilmington, DE. Born on February 7, 1967, in Annapolis, MD, He was the son of the late Webster F. King, Jr. and Betty Ann Gaug King. He was a graduate of Southern High School and was employed by the City of Bowie as a Heavy Equipment Operator for over twenty years.
Mike was a man who was always smiling, easy to talk to, and always had a quick joke. He had a proud spirit and a personality that made him memorable to everyone that knew him. He was a devoted Washington Commanders fan and loved riding his Harley Davidson, spending time at the beach, and most of all being with his family. He loved his family unconditionally and treasured the time he spent with them.
To his great-niece Nessa Ann Zahory, he was simply “Favorite Uncle Mike,” a special place in her heart that he will always hold. Mike is also survived by his sister Linda Lubbers, and a brother Brian King (Debra), niece Heather Zahory (Ahmad), and a great-niece Chloe Hartland.
In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his wife Christina King, a sister Sharon Howerton, and two brothers Randy and Webster King, III.
Mike leaves behind many memories that will remain cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Services will be private by the family.
