

Salisbury: Norma S. Emge, 93, of Salisbury, MD passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Born January 25, 1922 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Reuwer. Her husband, Wilbur “Bud” Emge, Jr passed away in 2003. She is survived by four children, Bruce F. Emge, David R. Emge, Joyce E. Emge and spouse Robin Kasemeyer, Timothy J. Emge and wife Deborah; daughter-in-law, Terry Emge; six grandchildren, Richard (Betsy) Emge, Philip (Jodi) Lynch, D. Christopher (Sabrina) Emge, Meghan (Josh) Bullis, Timothy, II (Jen) Emge, and Andrew (Chana) Emge; seven great-grandchildren, Olivia, Kendal, Adison, Grant, Rachel, Luke, and Vera. In addition to her parents and late husband, she is also preceded in death by one son, Daniel G. Emge. Mrs. Emge graduated from Glen Burnie High School class of 1940. After graduation, she started working for the American Oil Company in Baltimore as a Secretary. Norma loved caring for her family and the fellowship with her friends. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and enjoyed taking trips with her husband and children. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking, and baking. She was a current member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016, 11:00 AM, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 535 Riverside Drive, Salisbury, MD. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park, 721 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Joseph House, P.O. Box 1755, Salisbury, MD 21802.
