

Norris W. Taylor, 71, passed away April 2, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was born in Crisfield on February 27, 1944. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Norris worked as a service delivery driver for Sealtest/Cloverland Dairy as well as Scott Rice Termite Pest Control as a technician. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was passionate about music. He enjoyed playing in various local bands and was a DJ for many car shows and services. He was survived by his wife of 33 years, Joy Taylor; four children, Dawn Tidwell and her husband Ross, Jenni Smullen, Neal Smullen, and Mark Hudson; eight grandchildren, Sunny, Jessica, Miranda, Aleah, Morgan, Loren, Dylan, and Caroline; his two Chihuahuas, Weedle Bug and Pork Chop; three sisters, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Glen Alexander; and sisters, Betty and Shirley. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 12th at 4PM at The Lodges at Naylor Mill, 29339 Naylor Mill Rd, Salisbury. Pastor Brian Moss will officiate.
