An outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, birdwatching, and working in his garden. He worked as a Food Scientist for T.J. Lipton, Grocery Manufacturers of America, Adkins, Nabisco, and most recently for Perdue.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Bruns; two sons, John D. Bruns and Thomas J. Bruns; brother, Matthew Bruns; and a niece and nephew.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
