Richard Anthony Hughes, II, 74, of Delmar passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Coastal Hospice at Lake. Born February 6, 1952, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Richard Anthony Hughes, I and Margaret Segar Hughes.
Richard worked as a painter who enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. He was an avid Washington Commanders Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Hughes; two sons, Richard Anthony Hughes, III (Beth) and Michael James Hughes (Pam); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
