It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharlene L. Lewis, who passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 66. Born in Jacksonville, Florida she was the daughter of the late Clifton H. Lewis and Margaret H. Lewis.
She worked at the Daily Times until her retirement. An avid reader, she enjoyed researching family genealogy, cooking, sewing and making jewelry. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her brother, Clifton H. Lewis, III (Maria), sister, Janelle Cropper (Robert), brother, Robert Lewis (Christine); several nephews, a niece, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Pastor Fred Duncan will officiate. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Wicomico Memorial Park.
