Susan “Sue” Frances Cody, 75, of Parsonsburg passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at TidalHealth in Salisbury. Born September 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late David and Catherine Reilly Steiner.
Sue grew up in Oceanside, New York and later moved to Maryland where she raised her family. Her hobbies included needlepoint and completing crossword puzzles with her morning coffee. She collected decorative teapots and amassed quite a collection over the years. She enjoyed country music, the Godfather movies,and any and all kinds of police drama shows.
Sue loved animals, especially dogs, and is predeceased by her beloved dog, Sweetie.
She is survived by her three children, Rebecca Webster (Will), Matthew Cody, and James Cody; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, George Steiner.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1pm-3pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury.
