Mrs. Susanne Fox, beloved wife of Francis (Frank) Fox passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 82. Born April 6th, 1943, in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Louise Mildred Karle Galbraith and John Peter Galbraith. Susanne married Francis D. Fox on September 7, 1963. The couple began their life together on Long Island, New York.
Susanne graduated from SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale A.A.S. A Registered Dental Hygienist for thirty plus years in both New York and Maryland. Susanne was a Girl Scout leader for many years in New York. Moved from Mastic New York to Ocean City, Maryland then to Salisbury, Leesburg, Virgina, Greenbackville, Virginia and lastly to Salisbury, Maryland.
She was also an accomplished quilter and crafter. Additionally, Sue was a musician playing the flute and the dulcimer. She traveled extensively in the United States and from Canada to Mexico, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and Europe. Sue also enjoyed camping from Maine to Florida and sailing in New York, Maryland, and Virginia waters. Susanne (Sue) was an accomplished dancer and line dance instructor who participated in Ocean City, Maryland SPRINGFEST and SUNFEST shows featuring the Northside dance groups.
Susanne is survived by her husband of 62 years Francis Fox, daughter Kimberly Ann Malone and her husband Avery Michael Malone of Salisbury, her sister Louise Pagels of Mattituck, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends and family may visit Friday from 10am-11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury with prayers at 10:45 am.
