William Walters of Salisbury died peacefully on January 22. Born in Deal Island, he was 87. He was predeceased by his wife Frances, his daughter Tracy and his son Jerry. His parents were Addie and William Walters of Deal Island, also deceased. He is survived by a son, Robert and a daughter, Tammy Gharbi as well as grandchildren, Bobby and Billy Walters and Rafiq Gharbi and Anisa Gharbi Diab.Bill, as he was known to friends, was retired from Dresser Industries. He worked on the water for much of his life and also served in the Merchant Marines. Visitation by friends and family will be held Thursday from 9AM-11 AM at Bounds Funeral Home with burial following at Wicomico Memorial Cemetery.
