Wilson Alvin Rohde, Jr., 81, of Bishopville, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at TidalHealth in Salisbury, MD. Born April 6, 1944, he was the son of the late Wilson Alvin Rohde, Sr. and Anna Sophie Wise Rohde of Baltimore, MD.
Wilson served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970. His love for the water and boats inspired a fulfilling career as a marine technician.
Whether working or relaxing, Wilson found joy in being near the water. He cherished time spent at the beach, watching boats at the inlet, and taking drives to Assateague to sit by the waves. At home, he enjoyed puttering around the yard and maintaining his independence.
He is survived by his children, Wilson Rohde III, Carly Rohde, and Mallory Rohde; five grandchildren; his sister, Joanne Frankenfeld; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mari-Patricia Rohde.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held.
