In her lifetime she played many roles. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family effortlessly and unconditionally. A woman of faith, she cherished even the simple things life offered. She enjoyed gardening, traveling to Las Vegas with her friends, playing a card game of 31, watching the Price Is Right, and attending St. James' turkey Bingos in November. She was a lucky lady who often won, but who also took losing in stride. Her pleasant nature was one of her many beloved qualities we will all miss.
Adela also had a gentle resilience towards struggles that often befall a person in a lifetime. Her positive outlook on life laid a solid foundation of optimism and hope for the generations to come. Adela de la Fuente Perez will be remembered and honored by those who continue to live by her example.
