Just a quick note to let you know that I am thinking of you. I am so sorry I haven't kept in touch these past few years. I have thought of you often though. Every time I needed some mental health relief, I'd think back to our conversations and your contagious laugh. Those memories alone were enough to lift me out of any major funk. For that I thank you. Hey, would you do me a favor? Would you take a peek my way every once in a while? If you see any trouble headed towards me, would you do what you can to cause a diversion? I'm sure the people already watching over me are pretty worn and could use the break. Thanks again. Later.

Gamboa family,
   I was saddened to learn about the passing of Albert. I recall and will cherish the many great times I had with Albert and the rest of the Gamboa family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I will miss my friend.

My sincere condolences to the family.  I knew Albert when we worked together at Kelly AFB. We also played basketball at his dad's house many moons ago. He had a quick smile and his easy going manner endeared him to many. May he rest in peace.

Although, I only knew you through working at Pearson but I have many fond memories of you. You were one of the very few people I have come across in my life that actually made my day when I would talk to you. It was through our little talks that I found out that we lived in the same apartment complex, and every time there after when I would see you drive through the complex with a big smile you'd wave at me. You always greeted me with a smile and it always made my day. I know you will truly be missed. It is with a very heavy heart that I bid you farewell and wave to you one last time. My deepest condolences to the Gamboa family. Having been Albert's friend for over fifty (50) years has been memorable and  a cherished friendship. Since the days we shared at St. Stephens' baseball and basketball were some of my fondest memories. Will miss seeing Albert on the golf course. To Albert's family; I am so sorry you lost a man like Albert.  We were good friends for many years. I was an apprentice with Albert and we both started at Kelly AFB on Aug 1, 1983.  We spent many an hour in classrooms and drank many a beer after work.  He was a good friend that I loved him very much as did all that knew him.  His passing truly hurts me and I can only imagine how it hurts you. Many times I thought I needed to look him up and see what he was up too.  Like all good intentions I never got around to it. God please take care of my friend Albert.

Albert, your kindness and pleasant smile will be missed. Your care for your dad in his later years was very touching to me and my husband. You were always a good neighbor to me and my dad, Gilbert Alcala. May you rest in peace and may God bless your family.

ALBERT, my lifelong friend of 53 years. you left us too early. i'm glad you,me ,rey and robert got together at the VFW  a week before your surgery. you and I worked together for about 5 years. we golfed together,partied,shared good times,bad times,sad times.
