Alfonso M. Ruiz (Kino) went to be with our Lord on April 19, 2013 at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Del Carmen Casas Ruiz, grandchildren; Veronica Villanueva, Ruben Villanueva, Tina R. Martinez, Josephine C. Reyna, siblings; Oscar Casiano, Jesusa Segura, and Elena Aguilar. He is survived by his children; Richard Ortegon and wife Evangelina, Lupe R. Martinez and husband O.G. Gonzales, Sylvia Villanueva and husband Ruben, Alfonso Ruiz, Jr., Gloria Reyna and husband Lupe, Fernando Casas Ruiz, 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, siblings; Jose Casiano, Willie Casiano, Juanita Castillo, and Amelia Perez. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers form 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 9:30am to San Francisco di Paola Catholic Church for a 10:00am Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
