Anita P. Lopez, 87, passed into the arms of Our Lord on Monday, March 24, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother who faithfully cared for and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Roel Lopez and their infant son Noel, her beloved parents, Ignacio and Apolonia (Vargas) Pardo Garcia, sisters and brothers. She is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia L. Dunk and husband Richard, Yolanda K. Parker and husband Kevin, and Helena L. Abbassi and husband Steven; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and her one surviving sister Mary Wallish.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 618 S. Grimes of San Antonio. A short thirty minute viewing will precede the mass. Internment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
