Arthur E. Galindo

Mr. Galindo served in the United States Air Force. He had a variety of interests; he loved drawing, coloring as well as reading a variety of books. He also loved listening to oldies and tejano music especially Selena y los Dinos.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fernando and Anita; Step-mother Gladys; sister Lupe; brother Fernando Jr.; and son Thomas Olmos.

Arthur is survived by his wife Sylvia; daughter Theresa Ann Galindo; daughter in law Lou Anne Olmos; grandchildren Angelo Rene Sanchez; Danielle and Brett Olmos; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Memorial Medical Nursing Center who provided Arthur compassionate care.

Arthur will be missed by those who knew him.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A rosary will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral mass will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St, San Antonio, TX 78201. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery; Shelter #4, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
