A friend who lived his life with great joy, Arthur F. Sandoval, born February 17, 1922 has entered eternal rest on September 14, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Arthur was preceded in death by his loving wife, Consuelo Sandoval, and son Arthur Jr.; Arthur had courage, and great pride in serving his country and countrymen in the U.S. Army. His dedication to his customers at Ruiz Cleaners was making sure they left satisfied. He is survived by his brother, Steven Sandoval and sister, Alice Sandoval; his compadres, Mary, and Ruben Arroyos; also many nieces, and nephews. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Silver Creek Manor, and Odyssey Hospice for all the care given to Arthur. A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, Sunday September 19, 2010 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm this same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home Monday September 20, 2010 at 9:30am to celebrate a 10am Holy Mass at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
