Aurelia Diaz Hernandez

Aurelia Diaz Hernandez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the age of 91. She was born in Austin, Texas to parents Secundino and Tiburcia Diaz, on August 24, 1921. Aurelia will always be remembered for the love and dedication she held for her family and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 32 years, Santos G. Hernandez; son, Santos V. Hernandez; great-great-grandson, John G. Cirlos II; and all of her siblings. Aurelia is survived by her daughter, Gloria H. Saucedo and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Dolores, Louise, Andres, Carlos, Linda and Rebecca; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandra V. Hernandez; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the professionals of Princeton Place and Mario from Odyssey Hospice for their kind assistance during this difficult time. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following afternoon at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2619 Perez St. A Committal Service will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
