

Bobbie Lee Koch, 96, went to be with her Lord on October 22, 2017. She was born to Master Sgt. George and Ethel Eggeling, and she lived in San Antonio her entire life. She was educated and graduated from B.H.S. in 1939, and entered into nursing school where she graduated in 1943 from Baptist Hospital and became the surgical nurse for 3 surgeons until 1980 when she retired and traveled with her husband to many countries.
At one time she entered the hospital with a serious illness and was visited by a Belgium Catholic Priest. She wanted to be baptized as a Catholic. The priest heard her confession, baptized her, gave her communion and said she was definitely a catholic. The priest gave her his Crystal Rosary that she is taking with her. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Joy Ann De Cleene. She is survived by her daughter: Bobbie Lee Mills; Step-Sons: Greg Koch, and Larry Koch; 1 grandson and 5 granddaughters, numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday October 26, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 223 E. Summit San Antonio Tx., with the Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 9:30 a.m.
