

She was born in Cosel-on-the-river-Oder, Upper Silesia to Richard Witt and Dorothea Witt,
nee Czogalla. The family resided in East Berlin for many years until displaced to Bavaria during
WWII. After secondary school, Brigitte trained as a draftsperson and where she met her future husband. She married Wilhelm, then a member of the US Army, from which he retired as a SFC. Brigitte enjoyed a long career working in her profession for the Civil Service while her husband was on active duty and after his retirement from the military with a number of civilian firms in various states in which they lived.
Brigitte was very active and enjoyed skiing, sailing, hiking, travel, gardening, cooking and baking, knitting and sewing.
She is survived by a brother, Peter, and a sister, Monica, both residing in Germany.
There will be no memorial or graveside services. She will be interred at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery sharing the columbarium with her beloved spouse.
Memorial donations may be made to Wild-Life Rescue organizations or other preferred charitable organizations.
