Carolyn McClellan, our beloved aunt, entered rest on April 25, 2012 at the age of 91. A native of San Antonio, she was born to Joe and Felis McClellan on January 14, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Joe, Rudy, Charles, and George McClellan; 3 sisters, Elvira Zamora, Elodia De La Garza, Minerva Trowbridge. She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be remembered for her extreme independence, generosity and especially for her loyalty and love to family. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
