Cruz E. Martinez

Cruz E. Martinez, beloved son, brother and friend entered rest on November 4, 2012 at the age of 52. Cruz was a native of San Antonio, born on April 3, 1960. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Matias and Maria Martinez, Cruz and Maria Rodriguez. He will be remembered by his family for his strength and sense of humor. He is survived by his mother, Esperanza Martinez; brother, Gilbert Martinez; sisters, Janie Lopez, Grace Suarez and husband, Eddie; 10 nephews and 6 nieces; special friend, Teresa Renteria and her daughters, Crystal and Roseann; father, Juan Martinez; other surviving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
