Daniel Thomas Reyes

Daniel Thomas Reyes, born on April 10, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2016 at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his parents, Inez and Eustolia Reyes; brother, Moises L. Reyes, and his grandparents, Esteban and Margarita Reyes. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Reyes; sister, Gloria Reyes; children, Jo Ann Reyes, Daniel T. Reyes Jr. (Doreen), Roger Reyes (Sandra), David Reyes (Mary Lou), Richard Reyes (Sylvia), 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. Daniel graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1952, upon graduating he would go on to serve in the U.S. Army and work for Kelly Air Force Base for 35 years. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
