

Delia Ramirez, 92, went to be with her Lord on September 7, 2016. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 3, 1924 to Louis and Manuela Chapa. She loved spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors and traveling. She was a seamstress who took great pleasure in the clothes that she made for her grandchildren, as well as lovingly spoiling them with homemade pastries, especially her pineapple empanadas. She always made sure to make you laugh, had a great sense of humor, was a jokester, and would not let you leave without a smile on your face. Delia is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Enrique Ramirez, her daughter Oralia Ramirez, her son David Ramon, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her son: Henry Ramirez (Sally); grandchildren Sally Blymyer (Tim), Patricia Hencshel (Erich), and Evelyn Ferguson (Warren), Henry David Ramirez; great-grandchildren: Timothy Blymyer, Trinity Blymyer, Tinsley Blymyer, Taylor Hencshel, Erich Scott Hencshel, Madalyn Ferguson, and Jacob Ferguson, one sister, and one brother.
The visitation will be Thursday September 8, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be on Friday September 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 16075 N. Evans Rd at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
