

Domingo Sarabia Mireles, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, entered into rest on June 1, 2011 at the age of 91. He was born on December 7, 1919. Domingo was a very hard worker, working as an iron worker for many years (he loved to work outside). He was a faithful and dedicated Mormon and loved all of his children equally. Domingo never said “NO”. Even though things will never be the same, his love will always keep us going. He may have left us here on earth, but he will never leave our hearts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Mercedes and Angelita Mireles; wife Jovita Garcia Mireles; stepson Vicente Garcia; brother Jose Mireles. He is survived by his son Mario Roman Mireles; stepsons Concepcion Garcia, Daniel Garcia and Roberto Garcia; grandchildren, Nick Garcia and wife Mary, Rachel Mireles, Joe Garcia and wife Juanita, Felix Garcia and wife Rosemary, Robert Garcia and Cesar Garcia; Sister Damacia Arizola and numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Family will receive family and friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011 with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 for an 11:00 a.m. Service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 655 Castroville Road. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. The family wishes to extend a special “thank you” to all of the professionals from Odyssey Health Services for their kind help.
