A wheelchair user due to a condition at birth, Donny was fiercely independent and embraced life to its fullest. In 1986, he graduated Fox Tech High School, then pursued his love of history at San Antonio College. He was a true patriot and enjoyed being politically involved.
Donny was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, ‘80s music, rock concerts, online games and road trips. But most of all he loved being a strong support to his family and friends. He was always there to listen and advise on what was morally right—he also loved to laugh.
He is survived by his older sisters Daron “Candy” Durham and Cathy Vega along with her husband Angel Vega; his niece Keli Dailey; his nephew Blair Hannon; Cindy Vega (Luis) and her son Andrew; Christian Vega and Jeremy Vega and many other loving relatives across America.
Donny was preceded in death by his sister Debra Hannon and brother Darryl Wilson, as well as his father Herbert Lee Hannon and mother Josephine Gloria White.
