Edward Russell Williamson Jr., beloved father and grandfather, entered eternal life on November 17, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born to Edward Russell Sr. and Mary Helen Williamson on October 25, 1928 in Stonewall, Louisiana, and now reunites with his parents; wife, Augusta and sister Bettie Sue Corway in Heaven. He is survived by his children, Marianna Williamson and John Russell Williamson (Jennifer); grandchildren, Danica Marie Wiginton (Dawson), and Brian Allen Williamson. Edward proudly served his country during the Korean conflict, which lead him to receive his Korean Service Medal, Bronze Camp Stars, and Occupational Medal (Japan). He will always be remembered as a devoted family man who loved fishing, hunting, playing cards; spades, and his dog Duke. Edward was an active Mason and past master of Anchor Lodge #424. The family will be receiving guests for a Visitation on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Services will continue on Friday, November 21, 2014 for a 9:30 a.m. Graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery III.
