Efren Alfaro Torres

Efren Alfaro Torres, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, entered rest on March 15, 2014 at the age of 42, with his family by his side. He was born in Nuevo Laredo on September 24, 1971 to Elias Perez Torres and Lina Alfaro. Efren was skilled in plumbing, masonry, and in the construction field. He had a servant's heart and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was considered a protector by his siblings. Survived by his loving wife, Felipa O. Reyes; his children: Patricia and Efren Torres Jr.; step children: Daniel Vasquez, Rosenda Almendarez, Angelica Vasquez; grandchildren: Rosaly Vasquez, Bianca Vasquez, Raul Cervera, Roberto Cervera, Rafael Almendarez, and Marco Vasquez; siblings: Juan Torres, Elias Alfredo Torres, Luis Torres, Martha Torres, Elia Torres Araiza and Maria Torres along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2014 at The Rock of Revelation Church, 4714 Roosevelt (78214).
