Eleanor Casanova Flores, beloved mother and grandmother, entered rest on September 2, 2014 at the 90 years. A native of San Antonio, Texas she was born to Remigio and Carmen Casanova on November 21, 1923. Eleanor worked with SAISD at Collins Garden School for many years. She enjoyed dancing and thrifting. She was preceded in death by her parents; 8 siblings; husband Raymond Flores and is survived by their children; son, Jesse Casanova Flores; daughter, Teresa Flores Vallier and husband Ken; granddaughter, Sarah Elizalde. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014to celebrate a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.
