Dear Ellen.....you will be missed but not forgotten.
I met Ellen twenty years ago as a nurse at CSR. We reconnected as volunteers at Abode. Ellen was an integral part of the Abode family and was dearly loved. She was a wonderful cook and she loved to share her culinary talents with us. Ellen loved her family and was so proud of her grand kids. She was always ready to share the latest photo. She gave so much to so many. Rest In peace, dear Ellen.

Diana, David and Renee and family. I am just heartbroken for all of you. I know the closeness your mom had with each of you. Your mom was the most sweetest, caring and hard worker. And the best mom and grandmother. I have been blessed to have had your grandmother and mother on my life. My mom adored your mom and grandmother and I as well. If there is anything you need please let me know. Jen made arrangements for your uncle. I will be at the service Again my heart goes out to each of you.

I worked as an RN with Ellen for 21 years at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center. She was a wonderful co-worker and an excellent RN! Always professional, considerate. kind and had a great sense of humor! We shared many patient care experiences together over the years. She was also a great baker and cook. Her deviled eggs, red velvet cake and other goodies were always looked forward to at work potlucks and parties. My deepest sympathy to her children, grandchildren, siblings and many friends. She died too young and will be missed greatly! God's love , peace and comfort to her family. Colleen Cardinal

Ellen and I were coworkers at Christus Santa Rosa MC. When I first started there 22 years ago, I was kinda intimidated by Ellen, an expierenced nurse and me a novice CNA. But as the years flew by, I came to know Ellen as a loving, caring, knowledgeable, beautiful person inside and out. She not only cared about her patients but about us, the coworkers. She'd always ask about my kids and grandchildren. She always had answers to our problems and was so intrested in what we had to say. She made the best Chicken Ranch casserole EVER. To some she became mamma Ellen, to all she was a great friend and mentor. Will miss you Ms. ELLEN. Love you. RIP. My condolences to the family.
