She was born on June 27, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Pete and Patsy Hernandez.
Eloise was part of the Annual Senior Music Festival by Our Lady of The Lake in 1958, and graduated from Providence High School that same year. She continued her studies at Incarnate Word College where she earned her licensed in vocational nurse. She worked at various hospitals around the San Antonio area, including the Wilford Hall, Santa Rosa Hospital Downtown, Methodist Hospital Downtown, Soloman and Anthony.
One of her gifts was being a well-known cake designer.
She was very involved in the PTA for many years, beginning with her sons elementary thru their senior years. Only to revamp her role with some of her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and her eldest son Ronald “Big Ron” Hertlein, and grandson Anthony Hertlein.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years Hector Uribe, her sons, Andrew Quinones, Michael Quinones, and Marlowe De Munbrun, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her sons friends that called her mom.
