Elsie Boone Martinez, our beloved mother, and grandmother, entered rest on February 24, 2015 at the age of 88. She was born in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico on November 30, 1926. She was preceded in death by daughter Elaine Grace Martinez; husband Alejandro Martinez and is survived by their children: Hector Martinez and wife Pat, Cynthia M. Silva and husband Steven, Elizabeth M. Vela and husband Robert, Margo L. Martinez, Ymelda M. Cruz and husband Ubaldo; grandchildren: Elaine M. Perez, Jeffrey R. Martinez, Steven Silva Jr, Jeremy J. Cruz, Noah A. Cruz, and Alexis G. Cruz; great-grandchildren, Alejandro and Viviana Perez; and other relatives. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
