Elvira R. Flores, beloved grandmother and aunt, entered rest on March 14, 2014 at the age of 92. A native of San Antonio, Texas she was born to Manuel and Petra Rodriguez on July 13, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Hector Flores; and a sister, Socorro Aguirre. She is survived by her grandchildren: Michael Flores and Cynthia Flores; nephews: Arthur G. Robles and wife Mary, Gilbert G. Robles and wife Leonila; Fernando O. Rodriguez and wife Carolina; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives. Elvira was a devout member of the Assembly of God and will be remembered for her faith and humbleness. She will be missed. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service being held at 6:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 also at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers.
