Esther Maldonado, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, entered eternal rest on June 16, 2014 at the age of 83. She was born to Fructose and Rosa Arteaga on September 29, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Hortencia Garza, Able Arteaga, Roy Arteaga; and her granddaughter; Mary Michelle Bransteter. She is survived by her children: Giovanna Maldonado (Jory Odom), Majella Ryan (Patrick Jr.), Michael Maldonado, John Ethan Maldonado (Jalayn); grandchildren: Daniel Bransteter, Nicole Bransteter, David Bransteter, Keara Odom, Megan Ryan, Nolan Ryan, Alexia Jade Maldonado, Shayla Maldonado and Miranda Maldonado. The family will be receiving guests at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road, Helotes, TX. Services will conclude after Mass.
