Florentino A. Martinez

Florentino A. Martinez, 91, went to be with his Lord on December 19, 2018. He was born to Felipe and Tomasa Martinez in Encinal, Texas, on October 16, 1927. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Norma Fernandez. He is survived by his children: Jesus Martinez (Irma), Anita Martinez (Henry), Blanca, Felipe Martinez (Marivel) 12 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Roy Akers Funeral Home 515 N. Main Ave. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, December 28, 2018, the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr., with interment to follow at San Fernando III.
